Every staff person involved in oversight of our projects have more than a decade of service and experience at their position here at Richard K. Davis Construction Corporation. Our project managers specialize in working with design professionals and governing jurisdictions and therefore provide single source responsibility to the project's success. We will maintain and monitor lines of communication to ensure that problems are solved and information is provided timely through such means as e-mail, transmittals, requests for information (RFI's), revision notices, addendums and change directives.
GENERAL COORDINATION:
Create project schedule projections with critical milestones identified
Use effective e-mail to transmit key information timely
Use transmittal letters to document transfer of important documents to
responsible parties and governmental agencies
Utilize RFI system / Maintain and review RFI log
Document drawing and specification revisions / Distribute addendums after
release for bid
Maintain Owner, Architect and Contractor Change Directive summaries for
review
DESIGN TEAM COORDINATION:
Use Architect's RFI system to manage questions/issues relative to the
design and construction process
Evaluate and delegate RFI to appropriate project team member
Maintain RFI summary log identifying originating date, team member
responsible and whether RFI is “open” or “closed”
Suggest periodic conferences for design team coordination
Review/Update project schedule identifying critical milestones
Review outstanding RFI's
Review governmental agency process and any outstanding review
comments
Review responsibilities of individual team members / Identify key
completion dates
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS COORDINATION:
Schedule, organize and conduct pre-bid coordination meeting
Schedule, organize and conduct pre-construction coordination meeting
Conduct periodic job-site coordination meetings
Utilize “Request for Information” system to manage questions and responses
to subcontractor's and supplier's questions
Maintain project drawing/specification revisions and addendums logs
Issue project change directives as required
